Creator Agreement

Last updated 22 May 2026

This Creator Agreement ("Agreement") sets out the terms that apply to you as a creator on the Scrye platform, operated by Scrye Labs Pty Ltd (ACN 698 335 741, ABN 42 683 950 390) ("Scrye", "we", "us"). It should be read alongside our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, which also apply to your use of the platform.

By claiming your creator profile on Scrye, you agree to this Agreement. If you do not agree, do not claim or use your creator profile.

1. Eligibility

To participate as a creator on Scrye, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Be the genuine owner of the Instagram or TikTok account(s) you connect to Scrye
  • Have the legal right to enter into binding agreements in your jurisdiction
  • Not be prohibited from using the platform under applicable law

2. Claiming your profile

Scrye may create a seed profile for you based on publicly available information from your social media accounts. You do not have a Scrye account until you claim that profile by completing the verification flow, which involves confirming ownership of your social account.

When you claim your profile, you confirm that the social account is genuinely yours, the content and metrics on the profile accurately represent your account, and you consent to Scrye using your public content for matching purposes within the platform.

3. Engagements

An engagement on Scrye is a paid collaboration between you and a brand, governed by a contract signed in-app. Each engagement has its own agreed rate, deliverables, timeline, and usage rights, which take precedence over this general Agreement where they conflict.

When you accept an engagement, you agree to:

  • Deliver the agreed content to the standard described in the brief within the agreed timeframe
  • Submit content through the Scrye platform (not via direct channels unless both parties agree in writing)
  • Request revisions or raise concerns through the platform's messaging system
  • Disclose the sponsored nature of content as required by applicable law, including ACCC guidelines

4. Payment

Payment for completed engagements is processed via Stripe. Funds are held in escrow from contract signing and released to your connected Stripe account when the brand approves your delivery, or automatically at the close of the review window if no action is taken.

Scrye deducts a platform fee from the agreed rate before disbursement. The fee is disclosed at the time of engagement and does not change once a contract is signed.

You are responsible for declaring income from Scrye engagements to the relevant tax authority. Scrye is not your employer and does not withhold tax on your behalf.

5. Content ownership

You retain full ownership of all content you create. By participating in a Scrye engagement, you grant the brand a licence to use your content as specified in the engagement contract — typically limited to the duration and channels agreed.

You also grant Scrye a limited, non-exclusive licence to display your content and social profile within the platform for matching purposes. This licence ends when you remove your profile from Scrye.

6. Your representations

By using Scrye, you represent and warrant that:

  • Your social metrics (follower counts, engagement rates, audience demographics) are genuine and not artificially inflated
  • You will not misrepresent your audience or content quality to brands
  • You have not and will not engage in practices that violate platform terms on Instagram or TikTok
  • Any content you deliver under an engagement is your own original work and does not infringe third-party rights

7. Termination

You may remove your profile from Scrye at any time by contacting hello@scrye.co. Removing your profile does not affect obligations under any active engagements.

Scrye may suspend or terminate your profile if you breach this Agreement, provide false information, or engage in conduct that harms other users or the platform's integrity.

8. Governing law

This Agreement is governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.
